The toads have been limbering up all week, and they are now getting with toad-ish things in the pond, as you can see.  We await the toadpoles in a few weeks, then the toadlets in the summer...

We usually have a few frogs as weel, but they have been and gone judging by the frog spawn already present.  The newts will be next, but it's a bit early still for them.  There is something quite appealing about newts living in a brewery pond!
